Jacksonville Beach, FL – May 22, 2024 – Adventure Landing proudly hosted its 28th annual Easter Egg Hunt, raising an impressive $3,400 for the Jacksonville Florida Volunteer Lifesaving Corp. The event suggested a $5 donation per child, and additional funds were garnered through a raffle featuring items generously donated by local businesses.
In the attached photo, Susan Park (right) and Jim Emery (right) accepted the check on behalf of the Volunteer Lifesaving Corp, with Windy Leaptrott (center) representing Adventure Landing. Hank Woodburn, owner of Adventure Landing, shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This event is a highlight of our year, and seeing our community come together to support such a vital organization is truly inspiring. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this donation possible. Our partnership with the Volunteer Lifesaving Corp. underscores our commitment to supporting those who work tirelessly to keep our beaches safe.”
